Tom has been playing the church organ since the age of 11, developing naturally into it from his learning of the piano. As a result, he has many years of playing experience in churches and for Christian services. Tom has also played in prestigious venues such as the Catholic Basilica in Ottawa and Bath Abbey.
Professionally, Tom has held the post of Director of Music for two Anglican Parishes: St Philip and All Saints, Kew (2000-2002) and St. Mary The Virgin, Tottenham (2006-2019). Both posts held responsibilities for not only accompanying Sunday Worship but also running and training the church choirs.
Tom works as a freelance organist for such occasions as Sunday Eucharists, special services (e.g. baptisms, funerals and weddings); he is currently working at All Saint's, Cranham.
Tom has also extended his organ-playing skills by accompanying choirs in classical concerts during the last decade.
