Tom has been playing the church organ since the age of 11, developing naturally into it from his learning of the piano. As a result, he has many years of playing experience in churches and for Christian services. Tom has also played in prestigious venues such as the Catholic Basilica in Ottawa and Bath Abbey.
Professionally, Tom has held the post of Director of Music for two Anglican Parishes: St Philip and All Saints, Kew (2000-2002) and St. Mary The Virgin, Tottenham (2006-2019) and All Saint's Church in Cranham (2021-2023). Both posts held responsibilities for not only accompanying Sunday Worship but also running and training the church choirs.
Tom works as a freelance organist for special services such as baptisms, funerals and weddings. Please get in touch if he can assist you with any of these events.
Tom has also extended his organ-playing skills by accompanying choirs in classical concerts over the two decades.
